Integrative Physical Therapy (IPT) is an outpatient clinic owned and operated by Anne Nemec (PT, CLT) and housed inside of Integrative Health and Wellness Center. Anne is a manual and movement based therapist who specializes in Craniosacral Therapy, Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, Myofascial Release, and Lymphedema Treatment. She loves teaching others about the power of fascia and has spent over 20 years studying the topic. Anne has much knowledge to share with the community and aims to help every patient walk out the door feeling better than when they walked in.

Integrative Physical Therapy and Anne Nemec, PT, offer a holistic approach to physical therapy care that focuses on the whole person to target root dysfunctions, maximize the body’s self-healing mechanisms, regulate the stress response, and we pay close attention to the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. Treatments vary depending on needs and goals of individuals but most commonly consist of specialized manual therapy, therapeutic and postural exercise, neuromuscular re-education, modalities for pain management, and therapeutic neuroscience education.

Please note that payment is collected at the time of service. An invoice will be provided if you would like to self-submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. You are responsible for any referral or pre-authorization your insurance provider may require. Cash/Check/Credit or HSA card accepted.

More About Anne's Services

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on healing modality that focuses on the wave-like rhythmic pulse throughout the entire body. This therapy stems from osteopathy, which is an approach that emphasizes the role of the musculoskeletal system in health and disease. Some people use craniosacral therapy as an adjunct to other forms of treatment like migraines, headaches, chronic pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), post-surgical recovery, TMJ, and more. Myofascial Release

Fascia is a layer of connective tissue that surrounds muscles, vessels, nerves, and organs, binding them together both mechanically and neurologically. The fascial system is incredibly important, considering we have fascia everywhere in our body…from our head to our toes. However, when fascia encounters things like inflammation and trauma, it loses flexibility and binds up like yarn in a sweater. At Integrative Physical Therapy, we use the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release ™ approach to treat glued up fascia; it is a safe, gentle and effective hands-on approach to produce positive and lasting results. The sustained pressure into myofascial restrictions helps to eliminate pain and restore motion. Myofascial release allows us to view each patient as a unique individual and is considered to be the highest order of therapeutic artistry to enhance personal growth and awareness potential. Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

Anne Nemec has undergone specialized training to treat the pelvis and uses a holistic approach to help both men and women with issues involving the pelvic floor and urogynecological organs (bladder, uterus, prostate). Pelvic physical therapy can help reduce myofascial pelvic pain and symptoms of other conditions caused by pelvic floor problems, such as urinary and fecal incontinence, painful intercourse, and sexual dysfunction. It can also help people with voiding dysfunctions including slow or hesitant voiding, frequent urination, overactive bladder, and chronic constipation. Pelvic physical therapy is especially beneficial for men experiencing prostate issues or recovering from a prostatectomy.

Lymphedema Treatment

Lymphedema is swelling of a body part and usually occurs in the extremities. However, it can also occur in the face, neck, abdomen, or genitals. Lymphedema is the result of the abnormal accumulation of protein-rich edema fluid in the affected area. Improving the functioning of your lymphatic system is beneficial to your overall health and wellness. Lymphedema treatment provides reduced fluid volume and swelling, enhanced limb appearance and skin integrity, and better range of motion and physical functioning. Because your lymphatic system is part of your immune system, decreasing the chronic strain of fluid and edema will not only help you feel better, but your body will work better too. Anne Nemec is certified in Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) through the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. To date, this is the least invasive and most effective approach to treating lymphedema. Length of treatment depends upon the severity and duration of the lymphedema and will be discussed during your first visit.
