Jennifer is an Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner, Certified Hypnotherapist, Life Coach, and Holistic Wellness Practitioner with a genuine passion for helping people create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
At the heart of Jennifer’s work is the belief that people are not problems to be fixed. Often, the thoughts, behaviors, emotional responses, and patterns that keep us feeling stuck, began for very good reasons as ways of adapting, coping, protecting ourselves, or simply getting through difficult experiences. Through hypnosis and integrative mind-body approaches, Jennifer helps her clients gently explore those patterns, understand what may be keeping them in place, and create new responses that better support the life they want to live now.
Jennifer works with people of many ages and backgrounds who are seeking support with stress & anxiety, habits & behavior change, quitting smoking & vaping, chronic pain, confidence & self-worth, life-transitions, grief & loss, sleep disturbances, the lingering effects of difficult or overwhelming experiences, and many other challenges.
Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and deeply individualized. No two people arrive with the same story, and Jennifer believes no two sessions should look exactly alike. She takes time to listen not only to what her clients want to change, but also to what they have experienced, what matters to them, and what helps them feel safe and understood. She then draws from hypnosis, nervous-system regulation, guided imagery, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and other integrative practices to create sessions uniquely suited to each person.
Jennifer’s own connection with hypnosis began early, when both of her parents successfully stopped smoking after a single hypnosis session. Years later, she experienced its power personally when she used self-hypnosis during the birth of her second son, allowing her to move through 12 hours of labor naturally and without experiencing pain. That experience left her with a profound appreciation for the relationship between the mind and body, and for the abilities that can become accessible when we learn how to work with our minds rather than against them.
Jennifer considers it both a passion and a privilege to provide a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where people can feel heard, respected, and empowered in their own healing process. Rather than telling clients who they should become, she helps them quiet what has been getting in the way so they can reconnect with the strengths, wisdom, and possibilities already within them.
Jennifer has also studied healing traditions with a fifth-generation shaman in the Amazon rainforest of Peru and continues to expand her education in hypnosis, somatic psychology, nervous-system regulation, trauma-informed practices, and integrative healing arts.
Outside of her work, Jennifer feels most at home in nature. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, foraging, gardening, exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and spending time with friends and family.
